Thy Nguyen

Hi Friends!

My name is Thy Nguyen (pronounced like a cup of “tea”). I come from a family of Vietnamese refugees and am a first generation college student. I am a senior completing my nursing degree with a minor in Spanish. I am so grateful to join this wonderful team and to take part in this medical service project. I am beyond excited to put my nursing skills to the test, connect with the locals, and learn about what it takes to build capacity and solidarity with others. This experience will help me achieve my ultimate career goal of becoming a family nurse practitioner for underserved populations. I can’t wait to share with you all my experience!
