Sam Matterson
Hello! My name is Sam Matterson, and I am a 3rd year honor student pursuing a double major in Biology and Environmental Science on the pre-med track. At Regis, I am the president of the pre-health club, Alpha Epsilon Delta, and I am on the RUSGA sustainability cabinet. In my free time I love to play my violin and get outside as much as I can. I also love to garden and come springtime I’ll be spending much of my free time with my seedlings. I have two dogs and two younger brothers who I have always looked after. Nurturing and caring for others have always come naturally and is so fulfilling and rewarding for me. This is a large part of the driving force pushing me toward my career goals. I plan to pursue rural medicine to help bring healthcare to an underserved community and help those in need. I am so excited for the opportunity to get to work with the Guatemala Interfaith Medical Service project. It is such a meaningful and impactful program that I am so grateful to be a part of.
