Louis Gonzales

 

Hello, my name is Louis Gonzales and I am grateful to be a part of the Guatemala Medical Service Trip this year! I am from Cortez, Colorado and I am currently a junior in Nursing at Regis University. I have been an EMT for the past three years, serving with the Cortez Fire Dept. and the Stout Street Health Center in downtown Denver, and I applied for a position in Team Guatemala to continue studying and learning how best to provide high-quality medical care to people throughout the world, and to contribute everything that I can to the project! I plan to continue my education as a Nurse Practitioner and continue international work with the Peace Corps. and Doctors Without Borders, hopefully, one day owning my own practice. It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of the team this year.
