Logan Taylor
Hello, my name is Logan Taylor. I am a senior at Regis University. I have chosen to study neuroscience with the hopes of becoming a physician assistant in the future. I am from Thornton, Colorado and chose Regis because of its desire to help others and their ability to develop students into critical thinkers. I have worked as a dental/sterile assistant at Stoll Orthodontics for the past three years. This job has taught me so much about the medical field and developed my passion for working with patients. One of the many reasons that I was drawn to the Regis University Guatemala Interfaith Medical Project was their desire to help build sustainable medical practices for low SES communities. I also value their ability to exemplify great patient care to us as students. I am extremely excited to take part in creating a world where everyone has access to adequate healthcare. From this trip, I hope to learn how to practice wholistic care and get to know the people and culture of Coban. One day, I want to be on the leadership side of this experience and hopefully lead eager students on a similar project. I am grateful for this opportunity and am excited to grow as a student and leader.
In my free time, I love spending time outside. I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, hiking, and paddle boarding. I am also an entrepreneur and run a successful art business selling stickers through various stores. This experience has taught me how to turn a passion into a business.
