Katrina Kelley

Hi! My name is Katrina Kelley, and I am currently a senior at Regis University, set to graduate this spring with a degree in Health and Exercise Science. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, and I’m the youngest of three siblings. In my free time, I enjoy going for runs, weightlifting, listening to music, and playing the guitar. I was drawn to apply to this project because I place a large emphasis on health literacy, specifically within marginalized populations. I strongly believe that every population, and the individuals within it, can succeed when provided with the right resources. Education is the most powerful resource we can offer, as it fosters self-sufficiency and personal growth. This perspective is deeply shaped by my own experiences as a first-generation student. My long-term goal is to become a physical therapist, serving individuals through a holistic care approach and supporting them on their personal health journeys.
