Kara Rodeheaver

Hi everyone, my name is Kara Rodeheaver. I am from Albuquerque, NM and I am a pitcher for the Regis Softball team. I chose to pursue a career in nursing because I fell in love with the holistic approach to caring for others. I hope to be able to take my skills as a Regis nurse and turn people's worst days into something a little more tolerable. They may not remember my name or what I did for them, but they will remember how I helped make them feel and this is what is most important to me. I was drawn to this service project, because of the amazing work that they do for those who are not privileged to have access to healthcare. I strongly believe that access to healthcare is a human right and I cannot wait to work together with the team to make a small difference in the lives of the men, women, and children living in Coban.
