John Nguyen

Hi, I’m John Nguyen, and I’m a second-year biology major and Spanish minor on a pre-med track. I plan to specialize in oncology after medical school. I think it’s invaluable to learn about and consider how different cultures understand illness, and this trip will give me a new perspective that I will carry throughout my career. I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to have a tangible impact on La Ciudad de Esperanza and learn from the people of Cobán!
