Hi, my name is Grace and I am a freshman at Regis University. I am undecided in my major, but I have a passion for Peace and Justice, and art. In my free time, I am typically drawing or painting, reading, or paddleboarding with my dog. 

When I was 12 years old I went to Guatemala with this same program. I have been begging to go back ever since. My trip to Guatemala changed my perspective on the world completely. I discovered a new passion for making a difference within the lives of those who lack many of the privileges that I was simply handed for being a white girl growing up in America. Though I am unsure of how I want to follow this passion, it is clear to me that returning to Guatemala is my first step. I am extremely grateful and excited to be able to go this year, and I cannot wait to get to know everyone going on the trip, as well as the beautiful people of Coban, Guatemala.
