Richard Walter, MD...born and currently living in Los Angeles, Ca...attended UCLA  undergraduate school 1966 - 1970 (B.A. Zoology)...attended Chicago Medical School 1970 -1974 (M.D.)...Internship/Residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA/Wadsworth V.A. 1974 - 1977..began private practice in 1977, and have continued since that time (Tarzana, Ca.)...met my wife Cathy (R.N.) on my first day in medical practice....we married July 25, 1981...Cathy is currently an E.R. nurse at a trauma center in the San Fernando Valley...we have 3 wonderful children: Josh (CEO "Brandjump"), Michael (Financial Advisor- Schwab), and Nicole (Occupational Therapist - Cedars Sinai Hospital)...and...2 beautiful grandchildren: Autumn (5) and Avery (3)...i have traveled to Guatemala 8 times...each journey has been unique, uplifting, and spiritual--a chance to feel the "pulse of life"...the Guatemalan people are the most gracious i have ever met...and our medical team (always in my heart): smart and wise and caring--always striving to improve this world---and always willing to do anything to make that happen...now, a new and exciting journey with Regis...the best is yet to be...
