Hello everyone,
My name is Alexa Prado! I am a sophomore at Regis University. I am pursuing a
degree in Nursing with a minor in Spanish. I am a Mexican American female, born
and raised in Denver, CO. At Regis University I am the Latinx representative on
campus and an advocate for first-generation students.Outside of University I work
with undocumented families that want to be involved in outdoor recreations and I
provide them with swimming lessons. In the future I hope to become a travel nurse
and become a nurse practitioner. With my degree I want to help undocumented and
underprivileged communities around the world. I am so grateful for being part of this
team, to have an opportunity to start my journey of being a man and woman for
others by working with families in Guatemala!
