Hey, I'm AJ Calderon! I am a sophomore pre-med biology major with a minor in chemistry. In the future I want to be a surgeon and my interested specialties are trauma, orthopedics, and pediatrics. I am from a super small town in the Northeast corner of Colorado called Haxtun. Fun fact, my town has only 900 people and my graduating class was 19 kids! I am very excited to go to Guatemala on this Medical Interfaith Service Project so I can learn more about the medical needs in other countries, connect with people in the Guatemalan community, and provide help to those in that community.
